## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ROC ADVISED THAT A LEARJET, (N353CK), DURING LANDING AT WILMINGTON AIRPORT IN DELAWARE (KILG), HAD CONTROLLABILITY PROBLEMS. UPON ENTERING TRAFFIC PATTERN FOR RWY 27 AT KILG, THE PIC NOTED AIRCRAFT REQUIRED ASYMMETRICAL CONTROL INPUT TO HOLD AIRCRAFT LEVEL. PIC STATED WHEN FLAPS AND LANDING GEAR WERE EXTENDED THE PROBLEM INTENSIFIED AND THE PIC ELECTED TO PERFORM A GO-AROUND. FOR THE SECOND LANDING ATTEMPT, THE FLIGHT CREW USED A NO FLAP CONFIGURATION. UPON TOUCHDOWN, THE PIC SAID FULL AILERON, (LEFT), WAS REQUIRED AND THE RIGHT TIP TANK STRUCK THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
