## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN WAS CONDUCTING PARACHUTE OPERATIONS ON DATE OF INCIDENT AND HAD FLOWN APPROXIMATELY 6 FLIGHT HOURS AT TIME OF EVENT. AFTER JUMPERS EXITED AIRCRAFT AT 14500 FEET AIRMAN PROCEEDED TO RETURN TO DCM AIRPORT AND EXTENDED GEAR. CHARLOTTE ATC GAVE PILOT INSTRUCTIONS TO AVOID CONFLICTING TRAFFIC AND PILOT RAISED GEAR SINCE HIS APPROACH WAS THEREBY DELAYED. AIRMAN FAILED TO LOWER GEAR AND NOTICED THIS IN LANDING FLARE. A GO AROUND WAS EXECUTED BUT BEFORE DESCENT WAS ARRESTED BOTH PROPS CONTACTED RUNWAY. PILOT ELECTED TO CONTINUE GO AROUND AND MADE ANOTHER APPROACH WITH GEAR DOWN AND LANDED NORMALLY.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
