## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS BEING FLOWN BY PERSONS UNKNOWN WHEN THEY REPORTED THEY WERE NOT GETTING THREE GREEN LANDING GEAR INDICATOR LIGHTS AFTER EXTENDING GEAR. THEY PERFORMED AN EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION BY HAND AND ASKED TOWER TO VERIFY GEAR WAS DOWN.

FIRE TRUCKS WERE CALLED OUT FOR AIRCRAFT LANDING. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT.

OWNER OF AIRCRAFT STATED THAT THE LANDING GEAR EXTENSION LIGHTS HAD BEEN WORKING INTERMITTENTLY, CAUSING PILOT TO BE UNSURE WHETHER AIRCRAFT HAS GEAR DOWN & LOCKED.

OWNER STATED THAT THEY DID NOT FEEL COMFORTABLE PROVIDING THE NAME OF THE PILOT OR IDENTIFYING WHAT MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL HAD WORKED ON THE LANDING GEAR PROBLEM. THEY STATED THAT AFTER SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO DETERMINE THE (INTERMITTENT INDICATION) PROBLEM THE LANDING GEAR MOTOR WAS REPLACED. SINCE THAT TIME THE LANDING GEAR HAS BEEN WORKING WITHOUT FURTHER PROBLEMS.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
