## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

FIRST SOLO FLIGHT FOR STUDENT, WINDS WERE CALM AND WEATHER CLEAR. THE STUDENT PILOT STATED "I TAXIED TO RUNWAY 36 AND PERFORMED THE PRE- TAKE OFF CHECKLIST, CALLED TAKING THE RUNWAY AND LINED UP SLIGHTLY LEFT OF THE CENTERLINE. A FINAL CHECK OF THE INSTRUMENTS AND THEN BEGAN THE TAKE OFF ROLL. SINCE I HAD LINED UP SLIGHTLY LEFT, I CORRECTED BACK TO CENTERLINE. AT 55 KTS I STARTED TO ROTATE AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO DRIFT LEFT. I TRIED TO CORRECT BUT IT GOT WORSE AND BECAME APPARENT I WAS GOING OFF THE RUNWAY. THE REST IS A BLUR UNTIL I HIT THE TREES."
