## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AS ACCIDENT PILOT APPROACHED RUNWAY 24 AT CALIFORNIA CITY MUNICIPAL AIRPORT, L71, CALIFORNIA CITY, CA, AT ABOUT 60 MPH FOR LANDING, ACCIDENT AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED GROUND EFFECT, FLOATED SOME DISTANCE DOWN THE RUNWAY, BOUNCED UPON MAKING A THREE-POINT LANDING, AND CONTINUED ON TO FLOAT TO ANOTHER THREE-POINT LANDING. ON ROLLOUT, THE AIRCRAFT VEERED OFF TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY. PILOT THEN ADDED RIGHT RUDDER AND APPLIED RIGHT BRAKE; HOWEVER, THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED TO VEER OF TO THE LEFT OF THE RUNWAY, WITH THE RIGHT TIRE SKIDDING. PILOT RELEASED RIGHT BRAKE PRIOR TO AIRCRAFT ENTERING DIRT AREA. AIRCRAFT THEN ENTERED DIRT AREA AND FLIPPED OVER.
