## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SWA 2703 WAS BEING PUSHED BACK FROM GATE A4. DURING THE PUSH BACK THE TRACTOR OPERATOR WAS TURNING THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT SIDE OF THE A4 RAMP WHERE A FOOD SERVICE TRUCK WAS PARKED AWAITING FOR THE NEXT AIRCRAFT TO SERVICE. THE TRUCK DRIVER NOTICED THE AIRCRAFT WAS TURNING TOWARDS HIS TRUCK AND ATTEMPT TO MOVE THE TRUCK OUT OF THE WAY OF THE MOVING AIRCRAFT. INTERVERTENLY THE TRUCK MADE CONTACT WITH THE AIRCRAFT WICH DAMAGED THE LEFT SEMINTAR WINGLET. MAINTENANCE REMOVED BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT SEMINTAR WINGLETS AND CONDUCTED AN INLET STRIKE CONDITIONAL INSPECTION. THE WINGLETS WERE PLACED ON THE CDL AND THE AIRCRAFT TO RETURN TO SERVICE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
