## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING WITH STUDENT PILOT AT CONTROLS. THE CFI ABOARD STATED THAT AFTER TOUCHDOWN ON RWY 25R HE NOTED THE STUDENT WAS USING EXCESSIVE BRAKING AND INSTRUCTED HIM TO ?ENGAGE REVERSE? AND ?REDUCE BRAKING PRESSURE?. AT THAT TIME THE AIRCRAFT THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT DROPPED SEVERAL INCHES AND THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT APPROXIMATELY 20 DEGREES. THE CFI ISSUED THE COMMAND ?MY CONTROLS? AND APPLIED RIGHT RUDDER INPUT. AS FULL RIGHT RUDDER INPUT WAS APPLIED THE AIRCRAFT LEFT THE PAVED RUNWAY AREA AND ENTERED MIDFIELD. AS THE CFI CONTINUED TO MANIPULATE THE CONTROLS THE AIRCRAFT STRAIGHTENED OUT AND CAME TO A COMPLETE STOP.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
