## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED AN APPARENT LOSS OF RUDDER CONTROL ON APPROACH. MAXIMUM RIGHT RUDDER INPUT AND RIGHT AILERON INPUT WAS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN LEVEL FLIGHT. AIRCRAFT DEPARTED RUNWAY VEERING LEFT ON LANDING ROLLOUT. AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP IN LOW BRUSH AND SMALL TREES HAVING SHEARED THE NOSE LANDING GEAR OFF APPROXIMATELY 10 FEET PRIOR TO STOPPING.

INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED GOOD RUDDER CONTROL CONTINUITY AND GOOD AILERON CONTROL CONTINUITY. THE INTERCONNECT MECHANISM BETWEEN AILERON AND RUDDER APPEARS TO BE MALFUNCTIONING AS EVIDENCED BY LEFT RUDDER MOVEMENT WITH AILERON CONTROL AND LACK OF RIGHT RUDDER MOVEMENT WITH AILERON CONTROL.

MINOR DAMAGE TO LEFT AND RIGHT WING LEADING EDGE SKIN AS A RESULT OF STRIKING LOW BRUSH.

NO EVIDENCE OF FIREWALL DAMAGE.

PROPELLER HAS EVIDENCE OF STRIKING ALL THREE BLADES ON GROUND UNDER MINIMUM POWER.

NOSE WHEEL BROKEN OFF WITH DAMAGE TO NOSE GEAR LINKAGE AND NOSE GEAR DOORS.

AIRCRAFT ANNUAL INSPECTION; OCTOBER 2015

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
