## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRMAN PHONED IN TO THIS OFFICE 6/4/16 AND STATED THAT HE HAD A PROPELLER STRIKE WHILE LANDING AT 3W2. AIRMAN STATED THAT DURING ROLLOUT A GUST OF WIND CAME FROM THE RIGHT REAR AND LIFTED THE RIGHT WING AND TOOK THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT SIDE OF RUNWAY. THE AIRMAN ADJUSTED CONTROLS TO CORRECT BUT THE AIRCRAFT NOSED OVER RESULTING IN THE PROPELLER CONTACTING THE GROUND. ON 6/6/2016 A PHYSICAL INSPECTION WAS CONDUCTED ON THE AIRCRAFT. ABOUT 4 INCHES OF ONE TIP OF THE PROPELLER WAS MISSING, THE RIGHT WING TIP HAD A SMALL ABRASION WHERE IT CONTACTED THE GROUND AND THE ENGINE MUFFLER ALSO BROKE OFF DURING THE LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
