## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS BEING UTILIZED FOR FLIGHT TRAINING. DURING THE LANDING PHASE THE GEAR HANDLE WAS MOVED TO THE GEAR DOWN POSITION. ONCE IT WAS REALIZED THAT THE GEAR DOWN INDICATION WAS NOT ILLUMINATED THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE PATTERN AND BEGAN TROUBLE SHOOTING PROCEDURES. ALL TROUBLE SHOOTING PROCEDURES WERE INEFFECTIVE. THE AIRCRAFT WAS PREPARED FOR A GEAR UP EMERGENCY LANDING. THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITH THE NOSE GEAR IN THE DOWN AND LOCKED POSITION WHILE THE MAIN GEAR WAS PARTIALLY RETRACTED. THE REAR ENGINE SUFFERED A PROPELLER STRIKE AND THE AIRFRAME SUFFERED MINIMAL DAMAGE (MAIN GEAR DOORS AND ANTENNAS). THERE WERE NO INJURIES SUSTAINED DURING THE INCIDENT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
