## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT LANDED THE AIRCRAFT HARD ON RUNWAY 36 AT PORTER COUNTY REGIONAL AIRPORT IN VALPARAISO, INDIANA. THE TAIL WHEEL LEAF SPRING BROKE FROM THE IMPACT OF THE HARD LANDING, CAUSING THE TAIL WHEEL TO FAIL. THE FAILED TAIL WHEEL LIMITED THE PILOT?S CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT, AND THE AIRCRAFT GROUND LOOPED. THE AIRCRAFT THEN VEERED SEVERELY LEFT, COLLAPSING THE LEFT LANDING GEAR AND CAUSING THE LEFT WING TO CONTACT THE GROUND.
