## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT WAS LANDING IN A LIGHT CROSSWIND IN ORDER TO PRACTICE CROSSWIND LANDINGS IN THE TAILWHEEL AIRCRAFT.

ON ROLL OUT THE AIRCRAFT VEERED TO THE LEFT AND DEPARTED THE RUNWAY BEFORE THE PILOT WAS ABLE TO REGAIN CONTROL.

AS THE AIRCRAFT ROLLED BACK ONTO THE RUNWAY THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DEPARTED THE AIRCRAFT CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO PITCH OVER ONTO THE NOSE AND LEFT WING.
