## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 21, 2016, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ A COMMERCIAL PILOT STUDENT AT LEWIS UNIVERSITY, A PART 141 PILOT SCHOOL, WAS PRACTICING TOUCH AND GO LANDINGS IN N35BH AT LEWIS UNIVERSITY AIRPORT, ROMEOVILLE, ILLINOIS (KLOT). ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ STATED HE HAD NOTICED THAT THE NOSE SHIMMIED ON THE PREVIOUS TOUCH AND GO, BUT CONTINUED TO PRACTICE LANDINGS. HE TOUCHED DOWN, RETRACTED THE FLAPS, COWL FLAPS, CARB HEAT, AND ADVANCED THE POWER. AROUND 60 KNOT HE LIFTED OFF THE NOSE AND THE NOSE AND PROPELLER SLAMMED INTO THE GROUND. HE SHUT DOWN THE AIRCRAFT, EXITED AND CALLED THE AIRPORT AUTHORITY AND SCHOOL PERSONNEL.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
