## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AAL 1822 WAS AT THE APPROACH END OF RWY 10L ON TAXIWAY C WHEN AN AIRCRAFT BEHIND THEM NOTICED FLUID LEAKING FROM THE AIRCRAFT; AAL1822 WAS ADVISED AND REPORTED AN INDICATION FAILURE.

FUMES ENTERED THE CABIN AND FLIGHT DECK AND THE FLIGHT CREW DECIDED TO EVACUATE THE AIRCRAFT. ALL EMERGENCY ESCAPE SLIDES WHERE DEPLOYED AND PASSENGERS AND CREW EXITED THE AIRCRAFT VIA THE DEPLOYED SLIDES.

A TOTAL OF 24 PASSENGERS WERE TAKEN TO LOCAL HOSPITALS AND WERE TREATED FOR SKIN AND EYE IRRITATION CAUSED BY LEAKING HYDRAULIC FLUID.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
