## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT REPORTED THAT HE LISTENED TO THE AUTOMATED WEATHER AS HE APPROACHED THE AIRPORT. HE CHOSE THE RUNWAY FOR THE PREVAILING WINDS. UPON LANDING THE PILOT NOTICED THAT HE HAD A TAILWIND AND RAN OFF THE END OF THE RUNWAY STRIKING BOTH PROPELLERS IN THE PROCESS. UPON NOTIFICATION OF THE AIRPORT MANAGER (BY THE PILOT), IT WAS DISCOVERED THAT THE AUTOMATED WEATHER WAS "NOT WORKING PROPERLY" AND NOW HAS A VOICE NOT THAT IT IS OUT OF SERVICE.

THIS AUTOMATED WEATHER BEING INOPERATIVE WAS CONFIRMED DURING THE INVESTIGATION.
