## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON JULY 25, 2016 AT 1927 CDT NL99420 WAS LANDING 36L AT OSHKOSH WITTMAN REGIONAL AIRPORT (KOSH) OSHKOSH, WI AFTER A 14 CFR 91 PHOTO FLIGHT IN VMC CONDITIONS. UPON SELECTING GEAR DOWN, A LOUD BANG WAS HEARD AND THE NOSE LANDING GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. AFTER TROUBLE SHOOTING AND EXECUTING THE EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENTION PROCEDURE, A LANDING WAS ELECTED WITH THE NOSE GEAR IN THE UP POSITION. NO INJURIES WERE REPORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED MINOR DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
