AIRCRAFT DEPARTED BOWMAN FIELD (LOU) IN UPON APPROACH TO RUNWAY 24 AT EZF, SEVERAL WITNESSES NOTICED AIRCRAFT TOO HIGH (APPROXIMATELY 200 FEET ABOVE THRESHOLD) AND AT FULL POWER. AIRCRAFT TOUCHDOWN HALFWAY DOWN RUNWAY AND BOUNCED 3 TIMES AND THEN ATTEMPTED GO AROUND. AIRCRAFT STARTED CLIMB OUT AT FULL POWER, RAISED LANDING GEAR AND STARTED TURNING TO THE LEFT AT THE END OF RUNWAY 24 JUST ABOVE TREE TOP LEVEL. AT APPROXIMATELY 90 DEGREES TO RUNWAY 24, AIRCRAFT LOST ALTITUDE AND ROLLED TO THE LEFT. AIRCRAFT NOSE DIVED INTO WOODED AREA APPROXIMATELY 300 YARDS SOUTH OF RUNWAY 24. ALL SIX PEOPLE WERE FATALLY INJURED.

UPON INSPECTION OF AIRCRAFT, WINGS AND ENGINES SEPARATED BUT REMAINED WITHIN 10 FEET OF FUSELAGE, LEFT PROP REMAINED ON ENGINE AND WAS FEATHERED. RIGHT PROP SEPARATED FROM ENGINE AND INDICATED IT WAS AT FULL POWER.

ENGINES AND PROPS WERE EVALUATED BY OEMS. BOTH ENGINES RAN AND PRODUCED POWER, BOTH PROPS WERE ALSO PRODUCING POWER.
