## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

08/17/2016 AT APPROXIMATLEY 1830 LOCAL TIME, UPON LANDING THE PILOT STATED THE AIRCRAFT BOUNCED AND YAWED TO THE RIGHT. PILOT DID NOT CORRECT THE RIGHT YAW WITH ENOUGH LEFT RUDDER AND FURTHER STATED HE MAY HAVE HAD HIS RIGHT FOOT ON THE RIGHT HEEL BRAKE WHICH AGGRAVATED THE RIGHT YAW OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY SURFACE INTO THE GRASS AND BRUSH WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP OVER ONTO ITS BACK.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during landing and the unintentional right brake application, which resulted in a runway excursion and a nose over.

Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
