## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT TRIED TO TURN ON THE RUNWAY LIGHTS WITH THE APPROPRIATE RADIO FREQUENCY BUT THEY WOULD NOT COME ON. A FULL MOON AND PROPERLY FUNCTIONING LANDING LIGHTS PROVIDED SUFFICIENT VISIBILITY FOR LANDING. DISTRACTED BY THE MALFUNCTIONING RUNWAY LIGHT SYSTEM, THE PILOT IGNORED THE LANDING GEAR WARNING HORN AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITHOUT EXTENDING THE LANDING GEAR. THE AIRPORT MANAGER STATED THAT THE RUNWAY LIGHT ISSUE HAS BEEN DUPLICATED. A NOTAM HAS BEEN ISSUED UNTIL PROPER RUNWAY LIGHT OPERATION CAN BE CONFIRMED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
