## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 8/20/2016 AT APPROXIMATELY 1200 EST, CESSNA CE-150 N8568G, REGISTERED TO PRESSLEY AVIAITON, WAS DAMAGED WHEN THE RIGHT WINGTIP STRUCK A CHAIN LINK FENCE POST. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE RIGHT REAR SPAR FORWARD OF THE FLAP WHICH CAUSED WRINKLING OF THE AIRCRAFT SKIN. THE STUDENT PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND WAS UNINJURED. DURING REPOSITION IN THE NON-MOVEMENT AREA , THE STUDENT PILOT COULD NOT GET THE RADIOS TO WORK AND DECIDED TO RETURN TO A PARKING SPOT. THE SPOT SELECTED WAS NEXT TO A FENCE LINE AND REQUIRED A SHARP TURN TO HAVE THE AIRCRAFT POINT IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION. THE STUDENT PILOT TAXIED TOO CLOSE TO THE FENCE LINE AND STRUCK THE WINGTIP DURING THE TURN.

PER NTSB - SINCE NO INTENT TO FLY, NO ACCIDENT NUMBER ASSIGNED

COMPLETED PILOT COUNSELING REFERENCE PTRS 201607119

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
