THE NOSE LANDING GEAR FOLDED AFT AND THE PROPELLER CONTACTED THE RUNWAY ASPHALT. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST ON THE RUNWAY WITH NO INJURIES TO THE SOLE OCCUPANT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA16CA448](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA16CA448), Aug 21, 2016: Cessna 152 (N94939), Miami, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's improper pitch control during landing, which resulted in a bounced landing, and a nose landing gear collapse.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong.
