## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT OF N22FS (A KING AIR C90A) WAS TAXIING FROM HIS TIE DOWN SPACE AT THE SOUTH WEST RAMP AT APPROXIMATELY 8:30 PM PDT WHEN HIS LEFT WINGTIP STRUCK THE RIGHT WINGTIP OF A TURBO COMMANDER THAT WAS PARKED AND UNOCCUPIED. THE COLLISION KNOCKED THE WINGLET OF THE TURBO COMMANDER OFF AND SPUN THE AIRCRAFT APPROXIMATELY 90 DEGREES.

THE PILOT SAID THAT HE FELT THE IMPACT BUT BELIEVED HE HAD HIT A CHOCK OR A BUMP ON THE ROADWAY. THE NEXT DAY HE NOTICED A "SCUFF" ON HIS WINGTIP AND REALIZED THAT HE HAD STRUCK THE TURBO COMMANDER. HE THEN CALLED THE OWNER OF THE TURBO COMMANDER TO INFORM HIM.

THE PILOT STATED THAT THE ROADWAY LEADING FROM HIS TIE DOWN SPACE TO TAXIWAY BRAVO IS NARROW AND UNLIT. THE ROADWAY IS APPROXIMATELY 48 FEET WIDE AND THE WINGSPAN OF N22FS IS APPROXIMATELY 50 FEET.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
