## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ABORTED TAKEOFF ON TWO SEPERATE OCCASIONS DUE TO NOSE GEAR SHIMMY. AFTER TAXIING TO RAMP, NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED.

THE AIRPORT OPERATIONS MANAGER STATED THAT THIS AIRCRAFT WAS TAXIING AT A HIGH RATE OF SPEED WHEN THE INCIDENT WAS REPORTED TO THE FSDO.

INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT AFTER THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED FOR APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET ALONG SIDE A HANGAR BEFORE COMING TO REST.

INSPECTION OF THE AIRCRAFT REVEALED A BROKEN NOSE GEAR DRAG LINK, BROKEN SHIMMY DAMPER LINK, PROPELLER DAMAGE, AND NOSE CONE DAMAGE.

PILOT SUBMITTED STATEMENT ON 9/22/2016.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
