## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT HE WAS TAXIING HIS AIRCRAFT TO A TIE DOWN SPOT AT THE BOTTOM OF HIS HILL. HE STATED HE GOT TOO CLOSE TO THE ALDERS AND CLIPPED HIS WING. WHEN THIS HAPPENED HE GAVE FULL RUDDER AND INCREASED POWER TO COMPENSATE. THIS CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO HIT A RUT IN THE DIRT AND SENT HIM ON A PATH THROUGH THE TREES, ENDING UP NOSE DOWN AND AGAINST A TREE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
