## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT PERFORMED A PRE-FLIGHT INSPECTION, GROUND RUN UP AND TOOK OFF OF RUNWAY 1 TO THE NORTH. AS THE PILOT ROTATED AT 55-60 MPH THE AIRPLANE STOPPED CLIMBING AT APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET. THE PILOT LOWERED THE NOSE OF THE AIRCRAFT TO MAINTAIN AIRSPEED THEN CHECKED THE BOOST PUMP, THROTTLE, CARB HEAT, FUEL SELECTOR AND THE RPM CONTINUED TO DECREASE UNTIL APPROXIMATELY 2100 RPM. THE AIRCRAFT CONTINUED DESCENDING IN ALTITUDE WHILE THE PILOT DECIDED TO TURN LEFT HEADING WEST TO FIND A FORCED LANDING AREA. THE PILOT CHOSE A SOYBEAN FIELD AFTER CLEARING A TREE LINE AND WIRES, APPLIED FULL FLAPS AND LANDED THE AIRCRAFT WITH NO DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
