## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT REPORTED THAT ON TAKE OFF FROM KACK (NANTUCKET MEMORIAL AIRPORT) THE LANDING GEAR RETRACTED NORMALLY, THEN THE RIGHT WING DIPPED AND A METAL SCRAPPING NOISE WAS HEARD. KACK TOWER REPORT THAT THE RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR DOOR WAS STILL DOWN. THE PILOT CYCLED THE GEAR, THE DOOR REMAINED DOWN. THE GEAR, HOWEVER, DID INDICATE ALL THREE GEAR WERE IN THE UP AND LOCKED POSITION. THE PILOT THEN DECIDED TO CONTINUE THE FLIGHT. WHILE ENROUTE, THE PILOT DECIDED TO REQUEST A LOW PASS AT KFDK TO TRY AND ASCERTAIN IF RIGHT WHEEL APPEARED INTACT. THE TOWER CONFIRMED THE RIGHT GEAR DOOR WAS STILL DOWN. AT THAT POINT THE PILOT WAS CLEARED AND MADE A LANDING ON RUNWAY 30 AT KFDK. UPON TAXIING TO THE FBO A LINE AGENT INFORMED THAT PILOT THAT HE HAD ALSO HAD A PROP STRIKE WHICH THE PILOT ASSUMED HAD OCCURED DURING TAKEOFF.

Narrative: on 10-28-95 a Beech bonanza reg. #N6657Z landed with the gear up. On 10-30-95 I conducted a phone interview with a Mr. Paul t. gernhardt who stated…

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
