## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA16CA470](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA16CA470), Sep 7, 2016: Cessna 182 (N1928X), Diller, NE, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to go around after overshooting his intended touchdown point, which resulted in impact with farm equipment and terrain during an aborted landing attempt.

## Other reports on N1928X (1)

Matched to the same aircraft by N-number and date.

- [Incident 19821008062119I](https://openairdocs.org/incident/19821008062119I), Oct 8, 1982: Cessna 182H (N1928X), Fairmont, NE, Minor damage. Unfamiliar with night operation. Flared late on landing. Damaged propeller and fuselage skin.
