## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT ENTERED DOWNWIND TO KHIE(WHITEFIELD NH) AND NOTICED ANOTHER AIRCRAFT ON THE GROUND WAITING AT MID-FIELD INTERSECTION TO BACK TAXI TO RUNWAY 28 FOR DEPARTURE. PILOT RADIOED THAT HE WAS DOWNWIND AND WOULD EXTEND IF THEY WANTED TO TAXI. PILOT INDIACATED NO REPLY FROM AIRCRAFT ON THE GROUND. PILOT RADIOED THAT HE WAS TURNING FINAL AND SAW THAT THE OTHER AIRCRAFT HAD TAXIED UP A LITTLE CLOSER TO THE RUNWAY BUT WAS STILL HOLDING SHORT AT THE MID FIELD INTERSECTION. THE PILOT REALIZED THAT WHILE FLYING DOWNWIND AND FINAL HE WAS DISTRACTED BY THE ACTION OF THE OTHER AIRCRAFT.

PILOT INDICATED THAT HE LANDED GEAR UP ON THE RUNWAY AND SLID DOWN THE RUNWAY, ENDING UP ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF RUNWAY AT THE EDGE OF THE GRASS. PILOT INDICATED THAT HE DID NOT USE HIS CHECKLIST. PILOT OMITTED FAULT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
