## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 09/19/2016 @ APPROXIMATELY 1230 AKDT THE AIRMAN LANDED N5773D IN GUSTY WIND CONDITIONS ON ROUGH BUT SOFT TERRAIN 60 MILES WNW OF MCGRATH AK. HE POSITIONED THE AIRCRAFT TO BACK TAXI TO BEGINNING OF THE TOUCHDOWN POINT. UPON TRANSITION, HE BECAME STUCK AND APPLIED NEAR FULL POWER TO BECOME UNSTUCK. ONCE ROLLING AGAIN, HE MAINTAINED A HIGHER THAN NORMAL TAXI SPEED AND POWER SETTING. THIS TAXI SPEED BECAME TOO GREAT AND BRAKES WERE APPLIED. SIMULTANEOUSLY, A LARGE TUSSOCK WAS HIT CAUSING THE TAIL TO COME UP HIGH AND CAUGHT A GUST OF WIND. THIS IN TURN FLIPPED THE AIRCRAFT ONTO ITS BACK.
