## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON SEPTEMBER 21, 2016 AT APPROX. 11:55, A CESSNA (C340A) AIRCRAFT N106SD PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^, WITH ONE (1) PASSENGER ONBOARD EXPERIENCED A NORMAL APPROACH AND LANDING AT VERO BEACH MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (VRB). AIRCRAFT INDICATED THREE GREEN AND NO WARNING HORN WHEN THE FLAPS WERE EXTENDED. THE PILOT ESTIMATED ABOUT 1000' OF ROLLOUT AFTER TOUCH DOWN THE LEFT MAIN GEAR COLLAPSED WITH OUT WARNING, RESULTING IN AN EXCURSION OFF RUNWAY 30L TO THE LEFT. THE PLANE EXPERIENCED MINOR DAMAGE TO ITS LEFT WING. NEITHER PILOT NOR PASSENGER ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUSTAINED ANY INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
