## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

SHORTLY AFTER MAKING A NORMAL TOUCHDOWN ON RUNWAY 35 THE PILOT LOST DIRECTIONAL CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND BEGAN TURNING TOWARD THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO CORRECT THE RIGHT HAND TURN WITH FULL LEFT RUDDER AND BRAKE, BUT WAS UNABLE TO RECOVER FROM THE TURN. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED OFF THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE RUNWAY INTO THE GRASS AND CONTINUED TURNING OUT OF CONTROL TEARING THE LEFT MAIN GEAR FROM THE AIRCRAFT WHICH RESULTED IN A PROPELLER STRIKE AND THE LEFT WING MAKING CONTACT WITH THE GROUND BEFORE COMING TO A STOP WITH A HEADING 180 DEGREES OUT FROM WHICH THE AIRCRAFT HAD LANDED, APPROXIMATELY 100 FEET OFF THE RUNWAY.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA17CA005](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA17CA005), Oct 3, 2016: Cessna Ector 305 (N305MR), Concord, NH, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll, which resulted in a ground loop.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
