## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON 10/15/2016, AT APPROXIMATELY 1205 HRS CST., N441DD, A CESSNA MODEL 441 CONQUEST II AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED LEFT-HAND WING SKIN AND FLAP DAMAGE DUE TO THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR COLLAPSING DURING THE LANDING SEQUENCE AT CHAMBERLAIN (9V9) SD AIRPORT. THERE WERE NO INJURIES REPORTED FROM THE PILOT OR FIVE PASSENGERS. THE WEATHER CONDITIONS AT (9V9) AT THIS TIME WERE VISUAL FLIGHT RULES (VFR), RUNWAY CONDITIONS WERE DRY. THIS FLIGHT WAS CONDUCTED UNDER 14CFR 91 FLIGHT RULES. THE PILOT HELD A COMMERCIAL PILOT CERTIFICATE AND RECORDS INDICATE THAT HE IS CURRENT AND QUALIFIED IN THIS AIRCRAFT. UPON INVESTIGATION, THERE WERE NO PREVIOUS REPORTED ISSUES WITH THE LANDING GEAR ON THIS AIRCRAFT.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
