## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON OCTOBER 23, 2016 AT 1420 EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME, A CIRRUS SR20 AIRCRAFT, N585PU, REGISTERED TO PURDUE UNIVERSITY AND OPERATED BY A PRIVATE PILOT, RECEIVED MINOR DAMAGE WHEN THE LANDING GEAR BROKE OFF THE AIRCRAFT DURING THE LANDING AND TOUCH PHASE OF FLIGHT ON RUNWAY 14 AT THE MUSKEGON COUNTY AIRPORT, (KMKG) MUSKEGON, MI. VISUAL METEOROLOGICAL CONDITIONS AND LIGHT WINDS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE TRAINING FLIGHT WAS BEING CONDUCTED UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF TITLE 14 CODE OF FEDERAL REGULATIONS (CFR) PART 91 WITH A FLIGHT PLAN. THE PILOT WAS NOT INJURED. THE FLIGHT ORIGINATED FROM LAFAYETTE IN (KLAF), VIA TRAVERSE CITY, MI (KTVC).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
