## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRCRAFT TOUCHED DOWN NORMALLY LANDING RUNWAY 6. ACCORDING TO THE PILOT, THE AIRCRAFT BEGAN TO SETTLE ON ITS LEFT SIDE DURING ROLLOUT. THE PILOT APPLIED POWER IN AN ATTEMPT TO GO AROUND. THE LEFT PROPELLER TIPS BEGAN TO CONTACT THE RUNWAY AND THE PILOT QUICKLY REDUCED POWER TO IDLE. THE AIRCRAFT PULLED GRADUALLY TO THE LEFT BEFORE COMING TO REST ON THE RUNWAY EDGE. THE NOSE GEAR WAS DOWN AND LOCKED, BUT BOTH MAIN GEAR PARTIALLY COLLAPSED. MINOR DAMAGE OCCURRED TO THE BELLY, FLAPS AND GEAR DOORS. THE LEFT TIP TANK STRUCK A RUNWAY LIGHT AND WAS DENTED. THE LEFT LANDING LIGHT WAS SHEARED OFF AS THE WINGTIP SETTLED TO THE GROUND. UPON FAA INSPECTION, NO CAUSAL FACTOR FOR THE COLLAPSE COULD IMMEDIATELY BE DETERMINED. MULTIPLE LINKAGES ON MAIN GEAR FOUND BROKEN. UNABLE TO DETERMINE IF PART FAILURES OCCURED DURING THE LANDING EVENT OR PRIOR. MAINTENANCE FACILITIES ARE NON-EXISTANT AT NANTUCKET, AND SINCE NTSB HAS DETERMINED THAT FURTHER ANALYSIS OF THE LANDING GEAR IS NOT WARRANTED, THE EXACT SEQUENCE OF FAILURE CANNOT NOT BE DETERMINED. LANDING GEAR HANDLE WAS FOUND IN DOWN POSITION AND LANDING GEAR MOTOR CIRCUIT BREAKER WAS TRIPPED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
