## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT STATED THAT WHILE PRACTICING AEROBATICS MANEUVERS OVER THE WATER THE CONTROLS STUCK. CONTROLS STUCK AFTER PERFORMING A LEFT AND RIGHT AILERON ROLL AND A VERTICAL UP LINE. PILOT APPLIED RIGHT AILERON TO GET THE AIRCRAFT UNDER CONTROL. RIGHT AILERON INPUT DID NOT STOP THE LEFT ROLL. PILOT TRIED A SPIN RECOVERY THAT DID NOT WORK. PILOT DECIDED THAT THE AIRCRAFT WAS NO LONGER RECOVERABLE AND BAILED OUT. PILOT PARACHUTED TO THE WATER UNHARMED.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.
