## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 16, 2016 AT 2:10PM CST A ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ CONTACTED THE NASHVILLE TENNESSEE FSDO (CE-19) TO REPORT A "DUMB" MISTAKE HE HAD COMMITTED. ON 11-06-16 PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ AND A PASSENGER WERE OUT FLYING AND UPON RETURNING PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ INADVERTINLY FORGOT TO LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. PILOT ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ IS AN ATP WITH RATINGS IN A-320B, B737, FK-28, MEL, SEL, COMMERICAL PILOT AND OWNS THE INCIDENT AIRCRAFT. HE IS RETIRED FROM THE AIR CARRIER WORLD AND IS AIRPORT MANAGER AT INCIDENT LOCATION. HE STATED HE JUST DID NOT LOWER THE LANDING GEAR. SINCE THE INCIDENT HE ENROLLED IN BEECHCRAFT PROFESSIONAL PILOT PROFICIENCY COURSE AND HAS TAKEN A 5 HOUR ONLINE COURSE AND 3 HOURS OF ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTION. THE WEATHER WAS CLEAR AND VFR, NO INJURIES AND VERY MINIMAL DAMAGE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
