## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON NOVEMBER 10, 2016, A BELL 206B, N914HH WAS PERFORMING NIGHT AERIAL APPLICATION OPERATIONS. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE DURING REPOSITIONING AFTER LANDING. THE RIGHT SKID, AFT END, BECAME FOULED WITH THE LANDING PLATFORM RESULTING IN A DYNAMIC ROLL OVER. WEATHER CONDITIONS WERE VFR. THERE WERE NO MECHANICAL ISSUES WITH THE AIRCRAFT PRIOR TO THE ACCIDENT.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB WPR17LA019](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/WPR17LA019), Nov 11, 2016: Bell 206B (N914HH), Yuma, AZ, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot’s inability to maintain helicopter control after its skid got caught on the landing pad while he was maneuvering the helicopter to land on it, which resulted in a dynamic roll-over.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
