## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE PILOT WAS ATTEMPTING TO HOVER TAXI FROM HIS PROPERTY TO THE ROAD FOR TAKEOFF. THE HOVER TAXI WAS OVER A DRIVEWAY AND BETWEEN 2 MATURE TREES. PILOT STATED THAT HE STOPPED DUE TO HE THOUGHT HE SAW A PERSON WALKING BY ON THE ROAD AND THE AIRCRAFT DRIFTED TO THE LEFT CAUSING THE MAIN ROTOR BLADES TO STRIKE ONE OF THE TREES. THE AIRCRAFT THEN TIPPED ON IT'S SIDE CAUSING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT SUSTAINED MINOR INJURIES.
