## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED SALT LAKE CITY (SLC) FOR JACKSON HOLE, WY, (JAC) AT 2018 LCL AND LANDED AT JAC AT 2124 LCL. AFTER LANDING AT JAC, THE AIRCRAFT FAILED TO STOP AND RAN OFF THE END OF JAC RWY 19, STOPPING APPROXIMATELY 21 FEET PAST THE END OF THE RUNWAY NEAR TAXIWAY C. UPON DEPARTURE FROM SLC, THE FICON NOTAM FOR JAC RWY 19 WAS 5/5/5. WHILE THE FLIGHT WAS ENROUTE JAC AIRPORT OPERATIONS UPDATED THE FICON NOTAM FOR RWY 19 TO 5/5/3. THE PILOTS MISTAKENLY USED RUNWAY CONDITION CODE 4 TO CALCULATE LANDING PERFORMANCE AT JAC. THE CORRECT CODE WAS 3, WHICH WOULD HAVE INDICATED A DIVERSION FROM JAC DUE TO INADEQUATE LANDING PERFORMANCE FOR THE RUNWAY CONDITIONS. PILOT REPORTS FROM AIRCRAFT THAT LANDED AFTER

REPORTED POOR BRAKING ACTION WHICH WOULD HAVE INDICATED RUNWAY CONDITIONS OF LESS THAN 3.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
