## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N8803M WAS VFR ARRIVING F45 AIRPORT. UPON LANDING, N8803M OBSERVED DEER ON THE RUNWAY AND POWERED BACK UP TO EXECUTE A TOUCH AND GO MANEUVER. ON TAKEOFF, HE HIT THE DEER WITH HIS LANDING GEAR AND CLIMBED TO 1000FT. HE CALLED PALM BEACH APPROACH AND ADVISED WHAT HAPPENED. N8803M DIVERTED TO PBI TO DO A LOW APPROACH TO OBSERVE THE GEAR. HE WAS TOLD GEAR APPEARED DOWN AND ELECTED TO RETURN TO F45 TO LAND. AT 0327Z UPON LANDING RUNWAY 13, THE NOSE GEAR COLLAPSED. THERE WERE 4 SOULS ON BOARD AND NO INJURIES REPORTED.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
