## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

AIRPLANE DEPARTED FTW AIRPORT FOR AN INSTRUCTIONAL 2 HOUR DAY/2 HOUR NIGHT CROSS COUNTRY FLIGHT. AIRPLANE RETURNED TO FTW AND ENTERED THE PATTERN FOR MULTIPLE TOUCH AND GO CIRCUITS. AFTER THE FIRST TOUCH AND GO, THE INSTRUCTOR RAISED THE GEAR AND THE STUDENT PROCEEDED WITH THE NEXT PATTERN CIRCUIT AND LANDING. THE APPROACH WAS NORMAL. DURING THE FLARE TO TOUCH DOWN THERE WAS A SCRAPING NOISE AND THE AIRPLANE SLID DOWN THE RUNWAY GEAR UP. AIRPLANE PROPELLER AND UNDER CARRIAGE WERE DAMAGED DUE TO THE GEAR UP LANDING.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
