## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON FEBRUARY 3, 2017, AT APPROXIMATELY 1730 CDT A BEECHCRAFT 200GT OPERATED BY WEATHER MODIFICATION INC. WAS INVOLVED IN AN INCIDENT INVOLVING THE FAILURE OF THE AIRCRAFT LANDING GEAR. VFR CONDITIONS PREVAILED AT THE TIME OF THE INCIDENT. THE INCIDENT OCCURRED ON A FLIGHT FROM THIEF RIVER FALLS MN (TVF) TO FARGO ND (FAR). UPON PREPARATION FOR LANDING AT FAR, THE GEAR FAILED TO EXTEND. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES WERE UTILIZED TO EXTEND THE LANDING GEAR AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT FURTHER INCIDENT. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED NO DAMAGE AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES. MAINTENANCE REPORTED THAT THE FAILURE COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED AND CONSULTATION WITH BEECHCRAFT LED TO THE REPLACEMENT OF THE LANDING GEAR CIRCUIT BREAKER AND THE AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN RETURNED TO SERVICE. AN SDR IS BEING SUBMITTED BY FARGO JET CENTER (CTUR).

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
