## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

N5507D WAS SEQUENCED #2, TO LAND ON RWY28L BEHIND AN AIRCRAFT IN THE LEFT CLOSED TRAFFIC PATTERN. N5507D ARRIVAL APPEARED NORMAL AS IT LANDED ON RWY28L. AS N5507D WAS COMPLETING LANDING ROLL-OUT, THE AIRCRAFT NOSE GEAR APPEARED TO COLLAPSE. THE AIRCRAFT SKIDDED DOWN THE RUNWAY AND CAME TO A STANDSTILL JUST PRIOR TO THE INTERSECTION OF RWY28L AND TAXIWAY CHARLIE. THE TOWER CRASH PHONE WAS ACTIVATED AND HWD AIRPORT OPERATIONS #5 WAS NOTIFIED. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT RESPONDED. ALL OTHER AIRCRAFT WERE NOTIFIED THAT RWY28L OPERATIONS WERE SUSPENDED DUE TO DISABLED AIRCRAFT ON THE RUNWAY.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
