## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

THE AIRCRAFT WAS LANDING ON RUNWAY 31 AT THE CROSS CITY, FL (KCTY) AIRPORT AT APPROXIMATELY 17:44 LOCAL TIME. JUST AS THE AIRCRAFT WAS TOUCHING DOWN, THE AIRCRAFT COLLIDED WITH A DEER THAT RAN ACROSS THE RUNWAY. THE AIRCRAFT HIT THE DEER WITH THE PROPELLER AND THE DEER WENT UNDER THE CENTER OF THE AIRCRAFT. THE PILOT DID NOT LOOSE CONTROL OF THE AIRCRAFT AND TAXIED OFF THE RUNWAY TO THE PARKING AREA. THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED DAMAGE TO THE PROPELLER, NOSEWHEEL FAIRING AND UNDERSIDE OF THE FUSELAGE. THE PILOT WAS THE SOLE OCCUPANT AND WAS UNINJURED.

AIRMAN DOMICILE ZIP CODE AND DATE OF REGULATORY CHECK RIDE DEDACTED BECAUSE THERE WAS NO INDICATION THAT PILOT'S ACTION CONTRIBUTED TO THE INCIDENT. MWU

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
