## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

WHEN COMING INTO LAND AT KEWN I SELECTED MY GEAR DOWN. WITH NO GREEN LIGHT INDICATED I LOOKED OUTSIDE TO SEE MY NOSE GEAR WAS NOT EXTENDED, I RECYCLED THE GEAR A FEW MORE TIMES WITH NO SUCCESS. I REVERTED TO THE EMERGENCY GEAR EXTENSION CHECKLIST AND AFTER MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS THAT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. I THEN DID A SOFT LANDING TO MAKE SURE THAT MY MAIN GEARS WERE LOCKED IN THE DOWN POSITION THEN PERFORMED A HARD BOUNCE LANDING TO SEE IF THE GEAR WOULD SHAKE FREE. THE ATTEMPT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. I HAD DECIDED THAT ALL MY OPTIONS HAD BEEN EXHAUSTED SO I PROCEEDED ON A LANDING WITH OUT A NOSE GEAR BUT BOTH MAIN GEARS. I PERFORMED 2 PRACTICE LANDINGS ON RUNWAY 32 TO GET AN IDEA OF WHERE I WOULD NEED TO LAND AT TO MAKE IT ACROSS THE INTERSECTING RUNWAY(4¬-22). ON THE 3RD ATTEMPT I WHEN THROUGH MY EMERGENCY LANDING CHECKLIST AND SECURED MY COCKPIT THEN CAME IN AND LANDED ON RUNWAY 32 COMING TO A STOP PAST RUNWAY 4¬-22. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO A STOP I GOT OUT OF THE AIRCRAFT TO THE LEFT AND WAITED ON THE GRASS FOR EMERGENCY CREWS TO ARRIVE.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
