## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PER THE FAA FORM 8020-9 SUBMITTED BY Y90, YANKEE TRACON, FOLLOWS.

BLOCK #5. THE PILOT STATED HE WAS CRABBING THE AIRCRAFT INTO THE WIND FOR LANDING. HE DID NOT STRAIGHTEN THE AIRCRAFT OUT ENOUGH ON TOUCHDOWN CAUSING THE GEAR TO COLLAPSE. THERE WAS MINOR DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT FUSELAGE, PROP AND FLAPS. ONLY THE PILOT WAS ON BOARD AND THERE WERE NO INJURIES.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
