## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON MARCH 3, 2017, AT 6:15 PM CST, A MOONEY M20F, N381LB, WAS INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT AT THE HEBRON MUNICIPAL AIRPORT (KHJH), HEBRON, NEBRASKA. THE PIC WAS CONDUCTING TOUCH AND GO TAKE OFF AND LANDINGS ON RUNWAY 12. HE WAS NOT CARRYING PASSENGERS. ON THE SECOND TOUCH AND GO, THE PIC TOUCHED DOWN ON THE RUNWAY AND THE NOSE WHEEL STARTED TO OSCILLATE TO THE LEFT AND RIGHT CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO SWERVE TO LEFT AND RIGHT. THE SWERVING INTENSIFIED TO THE POINT THAT THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE LEFT SIDE OF THE RUNWAY 2,155 FEET DOWN THE RUNWAY. THE PIC APPLIED FULL POWER IN AN ATTEMPT TO MAKE A GO-AROUND. THE LEFT WING BEGAN TO DRAG ON THE GROUND, WHICH CAUSED THE AIRCRAFT TO ROTATE TO THE LEFT, CAUSING THE LANDING GEAR TO COLLAPSE. THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST 591 FEET FROM THE POINT THAT IT EXITED THE RUNWAY ON A 360 DEGREE HEADING. THE PIC WAS NOT HURT IN THE ACCIDENT AND NO AIRPORT PROPERTY WAS DAMAGED.
