## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

^MR. JACOBSON^ LANDED ON TURF RWY 26R AT F45 AFTER A DOZEN UNEVENTFUL TOUCH & GO'S. ON LAST LANDING THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED THE RUNWAY ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE, THE MAIN GEAR PANT FAIRING BOGGED DOWN CAUSING THE AIRCRAFT TO FLIP. MINOR INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED BUT THE AIRCRAFT SUSTAINED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRFRAME.

## The NTSB's investigation of this event (1)

From the NTSB's public API. Aircraft are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported serial number, make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

- [NTSB GAA17CA181](https://openairdocs.org/ntsb/GAA17CA181), Mar 8, 2017: Aerotek Pitts S-2A (N1230S), West Palm Beach, FL, substantial damage. Probable cause: The pilot's failure to maintain directional control during the landing roll in crosswind conditions.

Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
