## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

ON THE FIRST FLIGHT SUBSEQUENT TO AN OWNER ASSIST ANNUAL INSPECTION, THE AIRCRAFT DEPARTED KSZT FOR KMEV. THE PILOT STATED THAT DURING THE FLIGHT, AIRCRAFT PERFORMANCE WAS NORMAL WITH NO UNUSUAL PERFORMANCE OR LANDING GEAR INDICATIONS. UPON ARRIVING KMEV, THE LANDING GEAR WAS LOWERED; HOWEVER, ONLY THE NOSE AND RIGHT MAIN LANDING GEAR EXTENDED. AN EMERGENCY LANDING GEAR EXTENSION WAS PERFORMED BUT AGAIN, THE LEFT MAIN LANDING GEAR DID NOT EXTEND. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE PILOT DIVERTED TO KRNO AND CIRCLED EAST OF THE AIRPORT TO BURN-OFF FUEL. WITH THE FUEL EXHAUSTED IN THE LEFT TANK, THE PILOT RECEIVED CLEARANCE AND LANDED RWY 25 WITH ONLY THE RIGHT MAIN AND NOSE LANDING GEAR IN THE EXTENDED POSITION. DURING ROLLOUT, DIRECTIONAL CONTROL WAS LOST AND THE AIRCRAFT EXITED THE RUNWAY AND IMPACTED TWO TAXIWAY SIGNS, SIGNIFICANTLY DAMAGING THE AIRCRAFT. AFTER THE AIRCRAFT CAME TO REST, THE PILOT AND HIS TWO DOGS EXITED THE AIRCRAFT UNINJURED. KRNO FIRE CREW WAS ON SCENE AND THERE WAS NOT POST CRASH FIRE.
