## Narrative

As the FAA filed it, in capitals; the FAA replaces private details with ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^.

PILOT COMPLETED PREFLIGHT CHECKS AS NORMAL. THE CESSNA 421 N717LR TAXIED TO DEPART RUNWAY 1 AT CONROE (KCXO) AIRPORT. THE PILOT COMPLETED RUN UP CHECKS AND RECEIVED CLEARANCE FOR DEPARTURE. THE CESSNA 421 TAXIED INTO POSITION AND BEGAN THE TAKEOFF ROLL. THE NEXT AIRCRAFT N9503Q WAS WAITING TO DEPART RUNWAY 1. N9503Q COMPLETED HIS IFR CLEARANCE AND WAS OBSERVING THE CESSNA 421 ACCELERATE DOWN THE RUNWAY. THE PILOT FROM N9503Q STATED THAT HE SAW GAS (FUEL) APPEARED TO BE LEAKING FROM THE RIGHT WING OF THE CESSNA 421. THE 421 PILOT HEARING THE CALL ABORTED THE TAKE OFF. THE AIRCRAFT RAN OF THE END OF RUNWAY 1.

From the FAA Accident/Incident Data System. Reports are matched to registry aircraft by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry's history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model. For accidents, the NTSB's own investigation is the fuller record.
